Horse Show Fun

Jesse and I spent this past weekend in Perry, GA at the SUPER huge fairgrounds for Central Georgia Ranch Horse assocoiations first Ranch horse show. We had a blast as expected, and worked hard too. Since I have instructions from my midwife NOT to ride horses I laid low and didnt compete, however you know I had to bring shooter and ride a little bit. I have been the curator of thier website and Jesse was this weekends announcer, and he did great (of course!) we ALL know Jesse is good at talking to people! Thats a God given attribute I am most assured. So we took pictures, announced, helped keep the show running as smooth as possible and did alittle riding! I always have the best time anytime I get to be around horses, even though we missed our church family back at home. We did however have a sunday service in Perry which was edifying and God honoring, nice to see that when your away. anyways ill stop rambling here are afew pics :)

My absolute Favorite of the whole show! Mr Curtis is 75 years old and one of the most humble and godly men in all of the cowboy world that I know. I was so impressed by his sweet nature and quiet demeanor, if you dont ask he wont tell. The mare he rode was as incredible and had never even seen a cow before he brought her to this show! She was a brood mare since the age of 3 and he broke her as an older mare and brought her here! I wish that I could call him Grandpa! :) His humility was inspiring to me, and the fact that he loved the Lord meant it was real. God bless him.
